The Top Chef section of the #Content Report is so popular, I figured there’s no reason it shouldn’t have an audio component. For one thing, talking is much easier than writing. Host of the Roundball Rock podcast and Top Chef superfan, comedian Joey Devine is helping me break it down. It helps that Joey has incredible recall of basically every episode of Top Chef (not to mention his very relevant experience working at the Bubba Gump Shrimp Company). This week we’re talking episode 12, and if you haven’t watched it yet, yes there are spoilers (I mean obviously, that’s why it’s a “post-show”). Which chefs do we love? Which do we hate? Whose chances do we like? What changes do we love this season, and which do we not? Why does your face look like that?
I’m still working out the kinks of Substack’s podcast functionality, but hopefully soon I’ll be able to start making audio versions of some posts to go into this podcast feed, hopefully with a button on top of posts where you can listen instead of read if you want to. And for the people who subcribe here and to the Frotcast/Pod Yourself A Gun, I’m going to cross-post these Top Chef post shows there as well, which will be a helpful way to find them in your podcast apps before I work out how to make this feed available in all the podcast apps.
