I too vote for Vince doing it. As discussed on the frotcast years ago, the whole concept of selling out is antiquated. Plus I think Vince could do a legit Matt Taibi-style journalism out of it. Or Matt Taibi by way of Nathan Fielder.
"Jonathan Glazer is the director of Sexy Beast and Under the Skin."
This made me wonder when Councilman Jeremy Jamm (Jon Glaser) started directing movies, until I realized that was wrong and also confused him for Beefy NFL Scoops Guy, Jay Glazer.
Yes you should! If you can figure out a way to write about it without violating any contactual agreement. Does donating your fee to a charity make it okay? Do we care about not exploiting exploiters?
Origin's a Neon release, and they're doing that annoying fucking thing they did with Portrait Of A Lady On Fire and The Worst Person In The World, where the movie opens for a week in NY/LA in December, closes, then actually opens in late January/early February.
Look. I've lived in various parts of the Midwest my entire life. I have accepted that I don't get to watch most award movies/participate in the Discourse until they've been pre-vetted by the coasts. But if you're gonna release a movie, fucking release it. I am not a crackpot.
(Ava DuVernay also did When They See Us, 13th, and a couple microbudget indies I remember liking. Solid track record. She's friends with Oprah, and I choose to believe she got a little too into Oprah's whole deal while making Wrinkle, which suuuuuuucks.)
I kinda liked Monuments Men. Plenty of things to pick apart but overall enjoyable. Leatherheads seemed dumb but I feel that way about all sports films.
"I never responded. Should I?"
Let's see how that sausage is made, baby! I'm thinking we go deep undercover. Real deep - video camera hidden inside giant novelty cowboy hat deep.

Strong concur with this. Let's see how far this rabbit hole goes
Fun Fact- the first and only Rustin I've ever encountered in the wild vandalized my car and is in my phone as DO NOT ANSWER RUSTIN.

Too many mildly famous J Glaz(s)ers.
I feel like you kinda got Jammed
What's up with the Crate & Barrel font on all of these? Makes the posters look even more procedurally generated than usual.
What is Justin Long doing these days?!
STARRING IN “IT’S A WONDERFUL KNIFE”, BITCHES!
I hope the musical motif of”Leave The World Behind” is Everclear’s Santa Monica.

That wacky Nazi neighbors movie sounds fun! Also, bluesky is ROUGH right now, but way less dickheads, it seems.
Not gonna lie, I love busting nut to Sydney Sweeney.
I assume that's what the B in your initial stands for.
What were you saying about a fourth button option?
What is your bluesky handle Vince?
I kinda liked Monuments Men. Plenty of things to pick apart but overall enjoyable. Leatherheads seemed dumb but I feel that way about all sports films.
I've got a like, reply and share but the dislike button is curiously absent. I only bring this up because of your comment.
Those all seem like good options. Not sure why a dislike button would be useful.
