I feel like the last one was on the right side of the razor's edge between "these guys still got it!" and "these guys are too old for this kind of thing, and now it's sad." We're on the other side now. Also not promising that principal photography wrapped in March.
Adventure Tom... so which one is Jake the Dog and which one is Finn the Human?
Also, as a guy with opinions on spreadsheet shortcuts... fair play, I got nothing. "Adventure" has not been a part of my life for some time. We switched from adventurous vacations to all-inclusive resorts once our baby arrived.
Dirty Deeds is available to watch, if you can live with a low quality YouTube upload - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rIFWIHukyNw Bryan Brown is the absolute dog's bollocks. He's made several other movies with Big Sam, check out Sweet Country if you haven't.
- I think I mentioned this last time the Quiet Place movies came up re: the concept - it cracks me up that both movies so far (and the trailer for this one) have scenes where the characters shush each other. Makes sense in a prequel, but it's been over a year of living like this by the time of the first movie. I think they, and we, got it.
- I'd chastise Vince for mixing up Mamoudou Athie with Michael B. Jordan, but my husband has watched three movies with Athie (Uncorked, The Burial, that last Jurassic World), and always thinks it's Jerrod Carmichael.
- Dirty Deeds is on YouTube, a sure sign of a movie that fell through the legal cracks and no one cares enough to DMCA it!
Oh hell. In my defense his face was super small in that poster and I didn't look closely enough. I should remember him as I found him intensely off-putting in Elemental (hated both leads' voices in that, though the design and writing didn't do them any favors either).
*swivels in gamer chair, licks off Dorito dust* i suspect that the subtitle for Kevin Costner’s “Horizon” might be to differentiate it from the popular Horizon Playstation sci-fi series, which will have its own Netflix adaptation soon, i think. The Horizon games have more redheaded dreadlocs than mustaches, which must be someone’s thing
There is an actual train station in Toronto called "Old Cummer station." I swear I am not making this up.
Wow your mom is famous
I'm a staunch Bad Boys proponent but this new one...I don't know, man. It kind of makes sad and I'm guessing that's not what they were going for.

Still seeing it opening weekend.

Hey, parenthood is its own adventure! Just, you know, not a very cinematic one....
Have we reached the John Cena saturation point? I feel like we're there.
I think we got there when he groveled to the CCP in Chinese.
What is up with Michael Madsen's smirk in Resurrection Road? Looks more like someone wearing a clown mask.
By the way, sure, Sam Neil is from New Zealand... but the man was born in Ireland! Woo!
I legit thought that was John Corbett
I thought it was Mickey Rourke... wait, is he dead?
And I thought Michael Madsen was dead, but I think that's Tom Sizemore who's dead.
1. What's the soft nubbin on the back of Deadpools head? Is that the fatty bit like on a turkey?
2. Probably going to swing by Costco after seeing an early showing of Adventure Tom.
3. Austin Butler giving off James Dean vibes so maybe he can portray every retro 50s diner icon at some point.
Can't wait to see his Marilyn.
Owen Crow Shoe's face looks like it was sculpted out of clay, but the artist skipped the step where you smooth it out at the end.

The shushing is funny, but that they can just go hang out at a waterfall and talk was the funniest part to me.
What's wrong with sticking around there all the time!?
