It’s crazy. Some of the worst cooking I’ve seen then the android who seemed promising just quits. Somehow Bailey is going to make it back on the show, I can feel it in my bones. Must be the hats.
I was enjoying Canadian Carlton too (Ying needs her own show). The look of incomprehension on his face when they started throwing around hockey terms was priceless.
Maybe that picture is just an odd angle but does it seem like Big Cabbage will unhinge her jaw and consume the entire earth like in a Terry Gilliam cartoon to anyone else?
I went to my first Sceptres game a while ago. It was Spooner's first game back after some time off. Lots of people dressed up as utensils to welcome her back.
Love your write-ups, but kind of a bummer that the subject line spoils the episode for west coast viewers. Still, very enjoyable write-up and episode. I'm liking this season so far. Thanks Vince!
Jesus, the anise joke. You beautiful idiot.
I'm in tears
I don't watch Top Chef, but read Vince's write-ups because I'm a piggy. There's always a single joke that rises above the rest.
That's how he got me too. Now I'm a fan of the show, some how.
Also, LCK is a hilarious mess this season. We need to get into it. Total disaster
Dude. What the fuck. I’m so annoyed we lost both Anya and the adorable Chinese girl.
At least we got to see Tom mutter "this is terrible" while trying to spoon up orange juice with a fork.
I laughed very hard at that

Yeah was definitely a bit of a WTF when Sam opted out.
Parker Parsley?
"Ring-a-ring-a-rosie, she sounds like Parker Posey" is probably too wordy. And also fucking terrible.
Parker "House Roll" Posey? I got nothing, it's Friday afternoon.
Parker Dough-sey?
Beef patties are everywhere in Toronto. It makes sense to me that they'd give it a spotlight.
Great show nice write up! Just be careful with time for release.
Anya rolled into LCK, stepped on a rake, then backpedaled into a banana peel and slid face first into a cream pie.
I think in between the banana peel and cream pie, she got whacked by a cabbage leaf 😏

I refer to Kat as "Swing out Sister" but that's because I'm old. And she's catchy but not that great.
Hockey terms that could maybe be used in cooking (maybe? I'm no expert):
Top Cheese
Icing
Rag it
Butterfly
Shortie
Boarding
Hooking (dunno if there's anything food related... unless...)
In the box
Face wash
Slew foot
Dump and chase
2, 5 and a 10
Grinder
One-timer
Tip-in

True I forgot that part shows up before you open it, I changed it. My bad.
It's all good. It didn't ruin the episode for me. Thanks Vince!
