Vince, I don’t know if you watch Dark Side of the Ring but the Von Erich story (the family Iron Claw is based on) is DARK. There were five sons who entered the wrestling business and four died before they were 40. Fritz, the family patriarch, was an absolute monster.
Unfortunately, I don’t think they’ll accurately portray Fritz as the movie has involvement from Kevin who is an absolute sweetheart of a man who adores his father.
In medieval England when last names were getting tossed around - You're the town smith, so Smith of course. You make arrows? Fletcher, no brainer. You're a cooper and obviously we need barrels, so Cooper for you. And of course, as a butcher who makes the finest baby back ribs, Smallbone makes sense. *Richard Bighorn scoops up a handful of town strumpets and saunters away laughing while they giggle*
Wondering if they keep the name Wonka for the UK market. Folks be coming out of screenings shouting “You’re not just a plonka mate, yer a massive wonka too” **moves fist up and down**
The Ballad of Songbirds & Snakes sounds like a Tom T. Hall animated film from the 70s. Hard pass purely on that premise let alone a Hunger Games prequel.
All of the posters look like ass except May December.
Unsung Hero - a movie where everyone has child actor hair!
I can't believe you dissed Teddy Ruxpin. Unconscionable.
The Marvels was actually (imo obv) really good. Does a good job of presenting not just superhero conflicts versus supervillains but the effect their superhero behavior has on those around them. Always good to see superheroes with normal-person problems, like estrangement and cultural differences.
Oh, I should add that it's a shame the movie didn't make as much as it was expected to. In that sense, it's a disappointment. However, I think it's because of Marvel fatigue more than the movie itself being a bomb. Seems like every month there's a new Marvel TV series on Disney+.

I'm intrigued that Unsung Hero's blurb talks about a family of 9,but there's only 8 on the poster.
Where's #9?
Is it a dying grandma? An unborn child? The black sheep who went to San Francisco and changed genders? Is it Jesus?
If Lionsgate covered it's nut does that mean they have a closet full of j-socks?

There's no way the Marky Mark dog movie is as good as this ESPN video on it: https://www.espn.com/video/clip/_/id/18814225
Tho it might still be better than the book the guy wrote about it, it was oddly awful.
