I love these pieces, because I get the bulk of my new-movie info from Twitter and email, so I didn't know a lot of these were even coming out, or that they had reason to exist in the first place, so kudos all around.

F.I.T. on the Dicks: The Musical poster stands for Fucking Identical Twins, which is the name of the off-Broadway show the film is based upon. I would warn you NOT to Google the title Fucking Identical Twins. I have Safe Search turned on and still got a deluge of XXX links in my results. I watched the trailer and hoo boy, it looks very very bad.

Keep Calm and Blue Beetle

Mild chuckle at Slotherhouse. Might actually watch this. But then I've been binge watching the Joe Bob Briggs thing on AMC+ lately.

Still think the Satanic Hispanics posters look like co-opted power metal band album art.

Fun fact: Blue Beetle is based on Peter North *and* TT Boy.

Maybe I’m missing a Lionel Hutz joke but Joe Cornish isn’t “Joe Cornet”

The joke is that I’m dumb and bad at reading

It may be her real name but “Sherry Cola” on the Shortcomings poster reminded me that people dont do wacky stage names anymore, especially comedians (Carrot Top has probably been appropriated as a popular nickname for redheaded gentlemen on Grindr)

Maybe wacky stage names are too associated with drag queens nowadays? Crystal Methyd, Heidi N Closet, Tina Burner, Brooke Lynn Hytes, Farrah Moan, the list goes on...

That extremely canceled queen on Drag Race was named Sherry Pie!

I giggled so much reading this that I’m pretty sure Patch Adams will tell me I’m healthier

Just noticed poster for "The Kill Room." Airbrushing to an insane level--Joe looks like Jamie Dornan (a good thing) and Uma like Toni Collette (always a good thing). Odd.

And Samuel L Jackson looks like Santa

1) "Satanic Hispanics" made me think of the line "I'll get you a satanic mechanic" from "Rocky Horror." And there are a lot of evil mechanics out there.

2) "Young Royals"--I mean "Red White & Royal Blue" looks like "Heartstopper" for college boys. Which is NOT a bad thing.

3) RIP Glenda Jackson. Seems kind of like the recent "The Duke" with Jim Broadbent as a 61-year-old cabbie who steals a paining from a London museum.

Inverted Ass Bad Guy is a horror trope I can get behind

Oops, good point. Actual stage names, but for TV/film credits i wanna see more than just “Awkwafina”

Why does the Satanic Hispanic look just like the Martians from Mars Attacks? Are Satanic Hispanics Aliens or Devils!?!
